Bosa is building the tallest residential tower in Downtown San Diego. Using the facade from the old SDG&E building and drawing inspiration for the building name, Electra is conveniently located next to the trolley, Santa Fe Train Depot and the San Diego Bay.

San Diego Bay is shown here with an unidentified naval ship at dock. A typical day - sailboats on the water powered by a gentle breeze, hardly a cloud in the sky, 70 degrees. This photo was taken from The Grande (South building), a residential highrise in the Marina District. Bayside by Bosa Development, which should be completed in 2009, is the only residential building that will be closer the Bay than The Grande.

One of San Diego’s original residential neighborhoods, Normal Heights, is located above (to the south) Mission Valley. Adams Avenue is at times a flashback to a much younger San Diego. Normal Heights today is rich in culture and history. Adams Avenue is home to numerous boutiques, antique shops, sidewalk cafes and neighborhood taverns.

Fairbanks Ranch opens to Santaluz

From this intersection you can head west to Fairbanks Ranch, north (left) to Del Sur or to south through Santaluz and ultimately to Carmel Valley. The until recently undeveloped western portion of Rancho Bernardo is now hosting enclaves of exclusive communities.
